this is a book compliant harry potter game developed by two people who were tired of harry potter games dying off. we'll admit it, we were driven by the release of deathly hallows part one when picking the premise for the game, and because of that, we've picked book seven as the time frame for our game. you can play canon or original characters, though we encourage the playing of canon characters. this includes everyone from the trio, to the adults, to any of the random characters who contributed in some way to the wizarding universe. you can use whomever you choose as a pb, as long as they fit the character. this includes the actors who portrayed the characters in the films, though we will say no if we think a pb just doesn't fit. what you need to apply is probably one of the biggest points of contention when it comes to hp games. all we require is a small blurb and examples, though if you apply with an original character, we certainly encourage more. the general rules are in play here, as well: don't line cross, update every few weeks, and keep it realistic. last but not least, all we ask is that players be active and passionate about the material. we understand that this is a niche game and that it will probably end up closer to a group psl than an actual community, but we're in it for the long haul if there's the interest from other players.
